TERMS & CONDITIONS
pretty loud membership
By joining the Pretty Loud Membership (“the Membership”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).
Please read these carefully before purchasing or renewing your membership.
1. Overview
Pretty Loud is a virtual membership platform designed to empower and connect female-identifying artists, musicians, producers, and songwriters through online content, community, and opportunity.
Membership benefits, inclusions, and access levels may vary and are subject to change at Pretty Loud’s sole discretion.
2. Membership Structure
-
Pretty Loud reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of the Membership at any time, including (but not limited to) benefits, inclusions, exclusions, pricing, digital content, or event access.
-
Such changes may be made without prior notice to members.
-
Continued use of the Membership after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms and structure.
-
Pretty Loud reserves the right to cancel a membership for any reason at its discretion.
3. Eligibility
-
The Pretty Loud Membership is exclusively available to female-identifying artists, musicians, producers, and songwriters who are currently active — or planning to be active — in the music industry.
-
The Membership is intended for individuals pursuing music professionally or creatively as part of their career development.
-
Fans, listeners, and general supporters are not eligible for membership at this time.
-
Pretty Loud reserves the right to decline or cancel a membership if an applicant does not meet these criteria.
4. Membership Access
-
The Membership primarily operates virtually, offering online content, monthly toolkit drops, digital events, and access to the Pretty Loud community.
-
Access to in-person experiences (such as co-writing days, showcases, and content shoots) is considered an additional perk, not a guaranteed inclusion of the Membership.
-
In-person experiences may be limited to a maximum number of spots per event, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
-
Attendance or availability at such events is not guaranteed and may require separate registration or confirmation.
5. Payment & Billing
-
Membership operates on a monthly billing cycle only.
-
Payments are processed automatically via credit card through Pretty Loud’s online payment system.
-
If a payment fails, your membership will be automatically cancelled, and access will be revoked immediately.
-
Membership fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
-
Pricing is subject to change at Pretty Loud’s discretion. Any price change will take effect in the next billing cycle.
6. Cancellation Policy
-
Members may cancel at any time by emailing memberships@prettyloud.co.za.
-
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
-
No refunds or partial credits will be issued for unused time or features.
7. Digital Content & Intellectual Property
-
All toolkits, resources, videos, courses, workshops, and materials provided through Pretty Loud remain the intellectual property of Pretty Loud (Pty) Ltd.
-
Members may not reproduce, distribute, or sell any Pretty Loud content outside of personal use.
-
By participating in community activities or events (virtual or in-person), members grant Pretty Loud permission to use any images, videos, or content captured during these experiences for promotional purposes, unless written notice is provided to withdraw consent.
8. Community Guidelines
-
Pretty Loud fosters a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment.
-
Discrimination, hate speech, bullying, or harassment of any kind will result in immediate termination of membership without refund.
-
Members agree to conduct themselves respectfully in all community spaces — both online and in person.
-
Misuse of the community platform (spam, solicitation, or inappropriate behavior) may result in suspension or termination.
9. Events & Collaborations
-
Access to live or digital events, workshops, or collaborations may be limited and is subject to availability.
-
Participation in specific initiatives (such as songwriting camps, brand collaborations, or showcases) may require separate registration, fees, or selection processes.
-
Pretty Loud is not responsible for cancellations, postponements, or rescheduling due to external factors beyond its control.
10. Liability
-
Members participate in all Pretty Loud activities (virtual or in-person) at their own risk.
-
Pretty Loud will not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience resulting from participation in any event, collaboration, or digital activity.
-
Members are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary equipment, internet connection, and environment to access virtual sessions and resources.
11. Termination
-
Pretty Loud reserves the right to terminate or suspend any membership, without refund, for breach of these Terms or violation of community guidelines.
-
Members may voluntarily cancel their membership at any time as outlined above.
12. Amendments to These Terms
-
Pretty Loud reserves the right to change, amend, or update these Terms & Conditions at any time, without prior notice.
-
The most current version of the Terms will always be available on our website.
-
Continued use of the Membership after any amendments constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Any disputes shall be handled under South African jurisdiction.
